Expected results

Scientific impact

On one hand, we assume that our research will be well received by the scientific community within Europe and abroad. This is due to the fact that the study of social exclusion is marked by a number of theoretical and empirical gaps. Indeed, we still lack systematic studies of the social and political exclusion of young unemployed, especially comparing them with other social categories of youth such as those suffering from precariousness and those working under the poverty level. In addition, little systematic and comparative analysis has been conducted in regard to the interplay between unemployment, individual behaviour, institutional and societal environments.
